William P. Stritzler, Chair

Mr. Stritzler joined Smugglers’ Notch Resort in 1987 as Managing Director and purchased the company in 1996. He currently serves as Chairman of the Vermont Chapter of the Nature Conservancy and Vice Chair of the Vermont Business Roundtable. He also is a Board Member of Butternut Mountain Farm (a privately owned maple sugar and Vermont products business.) Mr. Stritzler is past Board Chair of Vermont Public Television, past Chairman of the Vermont Economic Progress Council, past President of the Lamoille Economic Development Corporation, past Board member of the School for Northern Studies and past Chairman of Copley Health Systems where he was a Board member for nine years.

Mr. Stritzler’s previous work history includes a period with Wells Fargo (1960 – 1974) where he was a Vice President of the Bank and President of the data processing subsidiary. He then joined AT&T (1974 – 1987) where he was a Corporate Vice President for new ventures and Vice President of Marketing for all US industries.

Mr. Stritzler is a graduate of Middlebury College. He lives in Cambridge with his wife, Viola, who is a Board Member of the Mary Bryan Art Gallery. They have two children.

Steven P. Voigt, Vice-chair

Steve Voigt has been President and CEO of King Arthur® Flour since 1999.  Hired in 1992 as Vice President of Finance, Steve became Chief Operating Officer in 1998. Prior to King Arthur Flour, Mr. Voigt worked for Benedetto, Gartland & Greene in New York, where he raised private equity for venture, LBO and alternative asset funds.  During his tenure there, he also supported his wife in founding, and later selling, Robin’s Homemade Breads of Greenwich, CT. 

He also consulted out of Zurich, Switzerland and Cleveland for McKinsey & Company. 

Mr. Voigt is a graduate of the Amos Tuck School of Business Administration at Dartmouth College, and Colgate University.  He is Past Chair of The ESOP Association and is also on the boards of Newport Harbor, King Arthur Flour, Kalow Technologies, the New England Mail Order Association and the Vermont Business Roundtable. 

Mark R. Neagley, Treasurer

Mark Neagley founded Neagley Construction Company 1984, an award winning company, initially specializing in adaptive reuse of historic structures.   Between 1986 and 2000, he personally managed all the infrastructure replacement and restoration of the buildings at Shelburne Farms, Shelburne, Vermont, including the Shelburne Inn, Farm Barn, Breeding Barn, new reservoir, sewer systems as well as structural repairs and renovations to a number of other buildings.  Early in 1998, Mr. Neagley partnered with Thomas E. Chase, forming the team of Neagley & Chase Construction Company, combining their experience to provide organizational growth for project diversification and larger project assignments.    Neagley has implemented a slow, deliverable growth pattern, training staff to be efficient, attentive and proficient at producing a quality product for a variety of clients.

Mr. Neagley’s previous work history includes a period as co-founder of Thermally Efficient Construction, a small Burlington, VT firm, specializing in quality residential construction using the latest technology and products for “green” and energy efficient construction.  He was also an early partner of Moose Creek Restoration, Burlington, VT, serving in a series of increasingly responsible roles.  His enthusiasm and work ethic on the job site led to the strong support of his co-workers and the sub-contractor community.   

Mr. Neagley has been a member of the Vermont Business Roundtable since 1995 and has served on the Board of Directors since 2005.  He enjoys everything in nature, golf, choral singing and travel. He is a graduate of St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY.  He lives in Shelburne with his wife, Marilyn, and son, Sam.
