Lisa Ventriss - President
A native daughter, Lisa hails from Middlebury, shire town of Addison County. She received her post-secondary education at the University of Vermont, earning a B.A. in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration.
Lisa currently serves on the boards of Champlain College; Chittenden Bank; Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation; Maine Mutual Group; and University of Vermont Regional Advisory Board. On the home front, Lisa enjoys the varied activities that surround the lives of her three sons and husband, as well as knitting, historical biographies, skiing, and gardening.
Beth Volker - Director of Administration and Member Support
Beth is a native New Yorker, born and raised in Port Chester, New York. She came to Vermont in 1972 to attend UVM and graduated (cum laude) in 1976 with a B.S. in Wildlife Biology and a minor in Forestry.
After graduation, Beth was hired by The Merchants Bank where she worked her way up from teller to Branch Manager. In 1985, Beth went to work for KPMG LLP as a secretary in the tax department. In July of 1988, she came to work for the Vermont Business Roundtable as the Executive Assistant to the President, and recently celebrated her 19th anniversary with the organization in July. She is currently the Roundtable’s Director of Administration and Member Support.
Beth is a past board member and/or officer of the First Congregational Church of Essex Junction, the Humane Society of Chittenden County, the Board of Associates at FAHC, and the Essex Community Players. She is a 2005 graduate of Leadership Champlain. Her hobbies include trap and skeet shooting, whale watching, tap dancing, acting, and singing. Beth lives in Williston with her 25-year-old parrot (Dino), her lovebird (Bubba), and her dog (Elsa).
